Public Skating cancelled (COVID-19)
Public skating held on Saturday nights fortnightly is being suspended until April. We haven’t taken this decision lightly but in the face of current events we feel it is prudent to protect our members and the public.
We are ceasing Derby training until April also.
We will update this if the situation changes for any reason.

All over New Zealand, on 7th March, skaters will be doing their thing and encouraging people to get involved in the wonderful world of skating.
It could be roller hockey, speed skating, artistic skating, roller derby or just skating for fun and fitness – as long as there are wheels on your feet.
The Northland Nightmares have decided in the morning to skate the Loop. We are meeting at 10.30am in the car park next to Te Matau a Pohe bridge. Please come along and join us for a skate & a chat if you have your own skates.
In the evening we are running a public skate at Portland Recreation Centre in McGill Road, Portland. Doors open at 5.30pm. As a special for Kiwi Skate Day only – entry will be $2 & $1 for skate hire if required. (NB: cash only please, no EFTPOS)
